  1. Bop Bop Bop Bop
Share

Written, arranged, performed and produced by Deborah "La Cocodrila" De La Torre (piano). With Ron Bland (bass) and Thomas A. Blomster (percussion).

This tune is a post-modern take on old-school Bop style happening on top of a distorted Cuban old-school Montuno-style bass line, with plenty of idiomatic flare happening all over the place, but which soon dissolves into a Cool Jazz quietude. Ironic twang and cackle at the end.
